Olympic Ferro x Enlightened

Son of Ferro out of Swedish warmblood foundation mare  Enlightened (La Baltic Sun) Beautiful gelding, one of the first of our homebred horses sold to Mrs. Kathie Norris for her daughter Rebecca. Described by her as “A horse of a lifetime”.  Not only did he take her daughter successfully into the hunter, and equitation rings, but he also competed successfully in the Derbies, and helped Kathie restart her own competitive riding career. A consummate Amateur horse.

Shine x Enlightened

Daughter of Shine, (top hunter stallion who was the oldest Derby competitor in the finals at Kentucky in 2014) out of Enlightened.  This mare has been very successful in the amateur owner divisions out of Oregon with her owner previous Sunny Maxwell, winning many championships and getting high scores and “Always winning the hack classes” (she has subsequently been sold to Sophia Passadore who is currently showing "Annie" in the hunter and equitation divisions).

"I thought you would like to know that Annie is doing wonderfully. We just did the High Desert Classic (week 1, AA) and were Champion in the Adult Amateur Hunters in my age group. She was fantastic and we received several scores in the 80s from top national judges.  And Annie always wins the under saddle class!!"  Sunny

First homebred out of our  thoroughbred show mare Even Nobler (Noble Nashua/Nasrullah). One of  Even Nobler's more notable moments was when she was described as "a dream", by George Morris.  Mystic was sired by the successful East Coast hunter sire Absolut.  He carried my daughter to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto where he was reserve champion of the Adult Amateurs Hunters.  Subsequently leased to Lexi Wedemeyer in California for a season as a junior hunter.  Honorably retired.

Second homebred out of the of the mare above sire, Shine.  Sold to Mr and Mrs. Kevin Poole of Corte Madera California, for their young daughter Audrey.  “Oliver” has together with Audrey won many championships in both the hunter and equitation rings over the last five years, including year-end awards and most recently the Hudson Medal Finals reserve champion.  A wonderful partnership.
